Chef and owner Ashley Hess Power graduated from Drexel University's Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management program in 2006. While attending Drexel, she studied and worked with some of Philadelphia's best known chefs and restauranteurs, including Georges Perrier, Chris Scarduzio, Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto, Robert Bennett, Roberta Adamo, and Steven Starr.
Throughout her years at Drexel she competed in several national and local cooking competitions, winning the 'Yo! A Cook's Off: Part Deux' competition sponsored by the Philadelphia Daily News.
Ashley's passion for food and love of entertaining inspired her to create Power Events, a full service catering and event planning company. She currently resides in Montgomery County with her husband Chef Jeffrey Power, her children Jackson, Reilly, and Averie, and their chocolate labrador Doc Brown.
